I was lucky enough to have my featured in IN-HOUSE DESIGN IN PRACTICE: real-world solutions for graphic designers (shown below: four of the brand ads that I co-art directed and designed for The Co-operators). The book's premise is to establish what an in-house designer does.
"Using the simplest definition, an in-house designer is a professional creative who produces graphic design for, and is an employee of, an organization whose main business in usually not design related ... who demonstrates, through words and actions, that it understands how design truely benefits business."
The book also includes work from a few other companies that use in-house design departments, including: Fossil, Virgin Atlantic, Yahoo, Whirlpool, Mutal of Omaha and Rand McNally.
